Halima Cassell MBE is a renowned British artist whose work is celebrated for its intricate geometry and striking organic forms. Based locally to our studios, Halima creates sculptures made from a variety of materials, including clay, stone, and bronze, and often explores the relationship between space, light, and texture. Her work is a blend of meticulous craftsmanship and a deep understanding of form and materiality, making it a true privilege for Greenacre Studios to collaborate with her.
For several years, we have had the pleasure of working closely with Halima, creating limited edition casts in Jesmonite that faithfully replicate her original sculptures. Given Halima’s dedication to precision and quality, it is vital that each piece we produce upholds her exceptional standards. Working under Halima’s close supervision, our team carefully casts, hand-finishes, and polishes each piece to ensure that it mirrors the original artwork down to the finest detail.

One of the standout pieces in our collaboration has been a range of wall friezes, which were cast in Jesmonite using the AC100 product. This material was chosen for its superior ability to capture the intricate details of Halima's designs, as well as its ability to retain the custom pigments we created to match the colours of the original sculptures.
We are honoured that Halima continues to trust Greenacre Studios to reproduce her artwork. The precision required in recreating her complex and deeply textured pieces is something our team takes great pride in, and it’s a pleasure to see how our work supports Halima’s vision, helping bring her sculptures to a wider audience.
